SKILLS REQUIRED: INTERMEDIATE97% 4X4 FARM TRACK 3% GRAVEL ROAD RIDING DISTANCE: 15KM VERTICAL DESCENT: 1500M VERTICAL ASCENT (CLIMBING): 60M DURATION: APPROX 5 HRS W/ APPROX 2 HRS RIDING STRATEGICALLY DESIGNED SO YOU CAN FINISH YOUR DAY OFF WITH A COLD BREW AT THE GIBBSTON TAVERN​ ​ Fly to just below the summit of Ben Cruachan and we'll ride down the rocky alpine ridgeline via a 4WD track towards Coal Pit Saddle. If track and weather conditions permit, we can divert from the ridge about halfway down to include Glenroy Water Race or stay on the 4WD track - both options offer epic views and fun riding down to Coal Pit saddle. With one last look at the Remarkables range it's a rough & ready off-road 4WD track down to the Gibbston Valley Tavern for a cold refreshing beverage to finish!


Terms and Conditions

WHAT TO BRING: Bring adequate clothing for back country riding and be prepared for all types of weather. Helmets must be worn and are included with bike rentals. HEALTH & FITNESS You must have a reasonable level of fitness even on an e-bike. If you have any medical conditions please advise us before the trip. CANCELLATIONS -The Ride Guide may cancel inside 24 hours of your ride due to weather or trail conditions. If this happens you will get a full refund and the option to rebook. -Up until 10 days prior to the trip customers may cancel the booking and receive a full refund less 3% for credit card and Paypal processing. -Between 3 days and 10 days, a cancellation fee of 25% will apply. -Cancellations made within 3 days prior to tour departure will not be refunded. Please note that some of the trails you have booked may not be available due to trail and weather conditions on the day or if you fail to meet the skill level required for a particular trail.
