We'll take you on unforgettable adventure riding all the way from Coronet Peak to Mt Rosa Wines in the Gibbston Valley. You will be blown away by this unique mountain bike trip – ideal for mixed-level riders. We offer a combination of guided and independent riding, with support and communication available throughout the day. For those seeking a more cruisy day, we have options to avoid some sections, travel in the support vehicle and spend more time in Arrowtown. We start on the famous Rude Rock MTB trail and experience 3km of downhill magic as you follow the contours of the rocky slopes of Coronet Peak. With a grandstand view of The Remarkables mountains and the Wakatipu basin, you'll find your bike legs and be grinning all the way. If you're up for a challenge, this is the perfect trail for you! If your style is more gentle we start at the bottom of Rude Rock. From the bottom of Rude Rock we head off on a super-varied intermediate fun and flowy trail. There are some good peddling sections following the historic water race, leading to an exhilarating backcountry descent into Arrowtown. Take a pit stop in Arrowtown, where you can enjoy a coffee or explore the picturesque main street and Chinese gold mining settlement. Then, enjoy a stunning ride along the river gorge and over suspension bridges to the original bungy bridge, where you can watch bungy jumpers and feel the adrenaline as you ride past them. Then, we'll cruise through the stunning Gibbston Valley vineyards, with the option to take on a technical trail overlooking the turquoise waters of the Kawarau River. After an exhilarating day of exploration and adventure, wind down with a sumptuous Valley Platter and tasting of 5 wines at Mount Rosa Wines.
